Common questions

Do guests need to download an app?
No. Guests just scan the QR code with their phone camera and the ordering page opens in the browser — no installation needed.
Does the staff app work on all Android phones?
Yes. The staff app works on any Android phone running Android 6.0 or higher. You'll need to allow installation from unknown sources — tap the downloaded APK and follow the prompt.
Is there an iOS version?
Not yet. The staff app is currently Android only. An iOS version is in the works.
How do I get my hotel set up?
Contact us to get your hotel account created. Once activated, download the staff app, log in with your hotel code and PIN, and you're ready to go.
What does it cost?
Hotelz runs on a simple subscription — Ksh 659/week or Ksh 2,599/month. Your first trial period is included when your account is created.
